As President & CEO, I have the honor of guiding MSHN and its subsidiaries with a focus on strategic vision, organizational growth, and mission-driven leadership in our shared mission to uplift children, families, and communities. My role is rooted in vision and leading teams—ensuring that our programs grow with integrity, our teams feel empowered, and our values remain at the heart of everything we do.
I’ve proudly been a part of this impactful agency since 2003, and each year has deepened my commitment to the work that we do affecting the lives of the people we serve.
My career has been shaped by a steadfast commitment to leadership rooted in strategy, purpose, and impact. From early on, I learned the value of grit, tenacity, and grace—qualities that continue to guide how I lead teams and steward our agency’s mission. These experiences have instilled in me a deep joy and passion for building systems that uplift and empower vulnerable populations. Today, I carry those lessons forward in collaboration with Philadelphia’s leadership, working to strengthen and enhance the communities we serve.
What drives me—both personally and professionally—is the belief that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and respect. I am inspired daily by the courage of our clients and the dedication of our staff. Knowing that our work can change the trajectory of someone’s life is the greatest motivator I could ask for.
Outside of work, my greatest joy comes from spending time with 2 daughters (Morgan -29 and Kaia – 25 – both who attended programs at MSHN) and family, most of whom are from New England. Whether we’re gathered at the beach, snowmobiling in Maine, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, those moments are grounding and full of love. I also find happiness in listening to live music and laughing with my wonderfully hilarious friends—there’s truly never a dull moment, and I cherish the energy and warmth they bring into my life.

The joy comes from witnessing transformation—when a client takes a step forward, an employee grows into their potential, or when our collective efforts from leadership creates lasting change. Those moments remind me why this work matters.
Favorite MSHN Memory
One of my favorite memories at MSHN was over 15 years ago and where I was able to experience the board meeting where we made the bold and exciting decision to open a farm on campus. It was inspiring to witness our board come together with such enthusiasm, innovation, and forward-thinking spirit. That moment marked the beginning of what would become the largest urban farm in Philadelphia—a true testament to our commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and visionary leadership.
