I currently serve as Associate Vice President of Business Systems. In this role, I manage program funding contracts and agreements, oversee Property Management and Information Technology services, and supervise the Administration Office. I also coordinate communications with the Board of Directors to ensure alignment and efficiency across departments and initiatives.
I have been with MSHN for 20 years. It has been an amazing journey filled with growth, learning, and meaningful connections. I am proud to have been part of the organization’s mission for two decades and to have witnessed its continued impact on the community.
The management, supervisory, and analytical skills I’ve developed over the years have greatly shaped my career path. I’ve been fortunate to be mentored by extraordinary men and women who encouraged me to believe in my abilities, build a strong work ethic, and inspire others to do the same.
Before joining MSHN, I spent more than 25 years in various management roles — including Customer Service Supervisor, Credit Manager, Accounts Receivable Manager, and Internal Audit Manager — in several major Philadelphia-based companies. My decision to transition into the nonprofit sector elevated my career in ways I couldn’t have imagined, bringing new challenges, deep fulfillment, and the opportunity to contribute to a mission that truly makes a difference.
My personal motivation comes from my faith in God. He motivates me daily to wake up with gratitude, pray for others, and embrace each day with purpose.
Professionally, I’m motivated by knowing that the work I do has meaning — that it contributes to the agency and the people we serve. I find fulfillment in opportunities to learn new skills, take on challenges, and use my abilities to benefit others. Working in a positive environment with supportive managers, great coworkers, and a strong sense of community truly inspires me. Knowing that my work makes a difference is what keeps me passionate and committed.
What I enjoy most about working here is the challenge — never knowing exactly what the day will bring. There is truly never a dull moment! I also really value the people I work with. When push comes to shove, we come together as a team to achieve our common goals. And when things slow down, we laugh together, release stress, and support each other. That balance of teamwork, humor, and shared purpose makes this a great place to be.
I find joy in spending time with my family and friends. We love taking vacations together and enjoying activities like movies, outdoor fairs, theater, amusement parks, and shopping. In my personal time, I enjoy working on puzzles—they challenge my mind and bring me a sense of calm and joy.
My daughters are both adults now, and as they have grown, I have learned to be confident and content with who I am on my own. It has been a truly liberating experience that has helped me appreciate both my independence and the meaningful connections in my life.

What brings me joy in my work at MSHN is knowing that, behind the scenes, I’m helping to keep the gears turning so our mission can be fully realized. Even though I may not always interact directly with those we serve, I take pride in supporting the team with the resources and structure they need to do their best work. Every day, I feel like I am part of something much bigger.
Favorite MSHN Memory
My favorite memory is our annual Harvest Parade. Yes, the children parade through the campus in costumes as staff fill their bags with goodies, but my memories are from the staff costumes on those days; we plan and dress in costumes as well for a few moments of fun, laughter, and joy for the children as well as for ourselves.
