Case Management

MSHN’s Case Management equips parents, grandparents, guardians, and family caregivers with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to nurture healthy, thriving children.

Using the Parenting curriculum—combined with interactive group sessions—participants learn to:

  • Understand and apply positive parenting techniques
  • Improve problem-solving skills
  • Recognize the stages of childhood development
  • Understand the capabilities and vulnerabilities of the brain
  • Build strong, healthy relationships with their children
  • Create strategies for quality one-on-one time and family growth

Caregivers also receive valuable information about educational resources available in the regional school system, helping them better advocate for their children’s success.

Community Schools Program

As part of Philadelphia’s Community Schools Program, MSHN provides Case Management Services at:

  • Edward Gideon School
  • Samuel Gompers School
  • Overbrook Educational Center
  • William T. Tilden School

These partnerships bring vital family supports, resource connection, and student-centered services directly into the school environment, strengthening the link between home, school and community.
